Catherine Pouliot is leading the team at our Austin Northwest and Austin Shoal Creek locations.
Dr. Pouliot completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Maine in Orono, Maine, earning a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a pre-veterinary concentration and a dual degree from the Honors College. She then moved to Blacksburg, Virginia to attend the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine for veterinary school. After graduation, Dr. Pouliot completed a one-year small animal rotating medical and surgical internship at the Texas A&M Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She then finished a three-year cardiology residency at the CVCA Hunt Valley and Columbia locations in Maryland in 2024 and became board-certified in the summer of 2024.
Dr. Pouliot is excited to return to Texas and enjoy the sights and sounds of Austin! In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, traveling, reading, and stand up paddle boarding. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as her fiance (a current veterinary surgical resident at Texas A&M), and their combined two cats and two dogs (Cassie, Luca, Payton, and Kara).
