Dr. Lilian Shen is leading the team at our Fairfax and Springfield locations.
Lilian graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Florida and stayed in Gainesville to attend veterinary school at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Virginia Tech, followed by a cardiology specialty internship in Kirkland. She started an emergency and critical care specialty internship at the University of Illinois prior to beginning her combined post-doctoral research/cardiology residency program with the University of Florida and CVCA. Dr. Shen is happy to be staying with CVCA following completion of her residency program in the summer of 2024. In her spare time, Lilian enjoys baking, gardening, and running. She is also excited to continue exploring NOVA and DC with her dog, Rodgers.
